“The Jinhua Bridge Connecting China and Africa” – The “Jinhua Bridge” for Vocational Education
Jinhua, China – November 4, 2026 – As one of the first pilot institutions under the “Future Africa-China Vocational Education Cooperation Program,” Jinhua University of Vocational Technology has trained a large number of African technical and skilled talents. After returning to their home countries, these graduates have joined Chinese enterprises or started their own businesses, bringing Chinese standards, e-commerce expertise, and automation technologies back to Africa. This bridge of cooperation also extends to the Luban Workshop in Rwanda. Chinese teachers travel to Africa to deliver lectures, jointly develop curriculum standards, and train local faculty, enabling the “Chinese Language + Vocational Skills” program to take root locally.
From campuses to industries, and from students to craftsmen, Jinhua leverages vocational education as a bridge that aligns personal growth and business needs with China-Africa cooperation, fostering a deeper and more concrete friendship through the mutual learning of skills.
